It looks like Usher is having a blast in London. First, he performed a special interactive gig that streamed on YouTube yesterday (June 12) in conjunction with the release of his seventh album, Looking 4 You. Then earlier today he stopped by BBC’s Radio 1 to perform a six-song set that included a rather interesting cover choice, Foster the People‘s “Pumped Up Kicks.” With bass guitar in hand, Usher told the crowd that the song was “one of his favorites” before starting to play. Combining his R&B vocals, bass skills and the almost similar rendition provided by his backup band, the “Scream” singer created a fun mesh of two musical genres.

Aside from promoting his album in the UK, he’s also slated to return to London in the fall to headline one of the nights for iTunes Festival 2012.
