Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg Dances To Nicki Minaj’s “Starships”: Watch
Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg has refused to ever apologize for his critical comments towards both Nicki Minaj and her “whack” single “Starships” he made during Summer Jam — which directly resulted in Nicki and the rest of Young Money bailing on the fest. As it turns out, the DJ is more fond of the song that he’d ever care to admit, and was caught dancing to “Starships” like nobody’s watching. He even busts out a hot pink wig in honor of Harajuku Barbie (though a hot pink bikini would have been more appropriate, considering the song’s video).
The above clip was clearly made for a comedy bit, but that matters not — let’s consider this Rosenberg’s way of injecting this beef with a bit of much-needed humor and simmering things down a bit. It was getting a little too heated there for awhile. [Via Popdust]
