Lady Gaga’s Perfume Bottle For “Fame” Revealed

“Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!” Lady Gaga tweeted Wednesday (June 13) afternoon. And indeed they have — the bottle for her “Fame” fragrance borrows the crystalized look she often wore during The Fame era of her career. The bottle is filled with black fluid, which changes color once the wearer puts it on their skin.

Though many reported that Gaga’s scent would include traces of blood and semen, first of all, ew. Secondly, that was taken out of context. “I wanted to extract sort of the feeling and the sense of blood and semen from a molecular structure, so that’s where that came from,” Gaga explained on the Kyle & Jackie O Show. “You just get the after feeling of sex from the semen, and the blood is sort of primal, and it was taken out of my own blood sample, so it’s a sense of having me on your skin.”

So what does the fragrance actually smell like? According to the back of the perfume box, “Tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea, with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.” All those flowery ingredients should get you smelling like an expensive hooker.

As for you non-female Little Monsters, don’t feel left out — this scent’s for you, too. “My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it,” Gaga tweeted to her 25 million followers.
