Carly Rae Jepsen Teams Up With Owl City For A “Good Time”

Adam Young of Owl City has mostly kept to himself when it came to writing and recording, but for The Midsummer Station, a new full-length studio album preceded by his Shooting Star EP, the Midwest electro-pop performer decided to switch things up by collaborating with other artists. For forthcoming LP, he teamed with producers and songwriters like Stargate (Rihanna) and Emily Wright (Karmin), and paired up with Carly Rae Jepsen on “Good Time”, a perfect synth-pop jam. Considering that Carly is the It Pop Star of the summer with her infectious #1 single “Call Me Maybe”, we wouldn’t be surprised if “Good Time” was all over the radio for the rest of the season.

Listen to the duo’s sunny collaboration below.

“Good Time” will be released on iTunes on June 26. The Midsummer Station is due out this summer.
