Jordin Sparks & The ‘Sparkle’ Cast Pay Tribute To Whitney Houston In “Celebrate” Video
Jordin Sparks and the rest of her Sparkle co-stars have a joyous get-together to celebrate the life and memory of Whitney Houston in the new video for “Celebrate”, Whitney’s last recording before her death. Sparks looks fabulous in the clip, whether we see her in scenes from the upcoming movie musical or during her intimate house party, where she shines in a peppy bright orange dress and an animal-print frock. The singer’s best costume moment, though, is when she dons a Whitney Houston t-shirt in honor of her idol and on-screen mama.
“We planned on it being Whitney and me, but she’s not here, so we wanted to make it a tribute to her,” Sparks told BET about the video. Though her image is seen on a projection during the party, it’s unfortunate that Houston wasn’t able to attend this bash, because it sure look like a ton of fun.
Sparkle will be released in theaters on August 17.
