BET Awards 2012: Nicki Minaj, D’Angelo & The Rest Of The Performances

Perhaps still stinging from her Summer Jam diss, Nicki Minaj skipped her giant hit “Starships” while performing at the BET Awards, and instead went with her Roman Reloaded tunes “Champion” and “Beez In The Trap”. The saucy rapstress was joined by an orchestra on the former, then stripped into a black lacy number and shook what her mama gave her with a crew of dancers — and tall drink of water 2 Chainz — during the bouncy latter.

Other highlights from the evening included D’Angelo‘s smooth comeback, the Whitney Houston tribute, Chante Moore belting out songs by the late Donna Summer and performances by Chris Brown, Kanye West and Usher. Watch Nicki’s bump ‘n’ grind above, and the rest after the jump.
