Britney Spears Crushes ‘X Factor’ Hopefuls’ Dreams In New Commercial
Who knew Britney Spears could be such a dream-slayer? In a new promo for The X Factor that aired during last night’s All Star baseball game, the “I Wanna Go” pop vixen was featured in a montage that showed her doling out the following lines to hopefuls during auditions: “You can’t destroy that song, sweetie.” “Very predictable.” “Bad to the bone.” And then there was this devastating blow: “You definitely don’t have that X factor.” Suddenly this dog-and-pony act just moved to the top of our DVR queue!
The second season of the talent competition premieres on September 12 on Fox. And if Britney keeps this up, Simon Cowell may soon be out of a job on his own program.
