Former Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist-turned-solo-artist Slash was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame yesterday, during which his old GNR bandmate Axl Rose was honored with a trashing by L.A.’s favorite loose canon, Charlie Sheen. At the ceremony, which was fittingly held outside the Hard Rock Cafe, Sheen delivered some heartfelt words about his longtime friend Slash. But, honestly, who wants to hear that? Let’s just get to get to the good stuff, which included this zinger: “It’s quite fitting, I think, that Slash is getting a star on the very street that Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on. Boom!

A leathered-up Slash just stood by Charlie’s side, smiling through the embarrassment. Sheen later quipped, “I just gotta say congratulations to Slash. That star is gonna be stepped on more than the coke we did in the ’80s.” Stay classy, gents.
