Nicki Minaj’s “Pound The Alarm” Video: A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Trinidad Shoot
Nicki Minaj returned to her birthplace of Trinidad recently to shoot the video for Roman Reloaded single “Pound The Alarm”. And given that the pop-rapstress was working it in the sunny Caribbean climate, she made sure to show off her ample curves in the clip. In the above behind-the-scenes peek at “Pound The Alarm”, Minaj notes while getting primped on the set, “In my homeland, where I was born. We’re here, baby, Trinidad!”
We also get to see the “Starships” diva strut around in feathers as locals show their love by dancing for Minaj’s camera crew and screaming when Nicki walks out to greet them. She later comments on how women in Trinidad give her props by telling her how sexy she is. Can’t say we blame them! Get an early taste for “Pound The Alarm” above.
