Madonna’s “Turn Up The Radio” Video: Cougar, Take The Wheel

Let’s get this out of the way right off the bat: Madonna‘s video for third MDNA single “Turn Up The Radio” is the most fun visual she’s offered up in years. Sure, “Give Me All Your Luvin'” was campy in the best way possible, but the Super Bowl tie-in lent an air of over-marketed cheesiness to the busy clip.

Instead, it’s the Tom Munro-directed “Turn Up The Radio” that has us waving our pom-poms high. We like to imagine that the vid simply shows a normal day-in-the-life of pop’s longest-reigning queen: turning a four-wheeled paparazzi escape mission into a jaunt through Italy wherein the Material Girl proceeds to pick up the best looking men on the roadside. Watch above.

Madonna The Cougar’s most handsome young prey in this saucy adventure is her suave chauffeur, who, by the end of the quest, winds up jumping out of the party car in the Tuscan countryside with his pants falling down around his ankles. See that, Britney, Bey, Xtina, Katy, Rihanna, etc. — aging divas simply have more fun.

In the end, we’re led to believe that Madge’s manhunt was all a dream. Or was it? Never underestimate the imagination of a girl gone wild in the midst of hot young paesanos.

All in all, a fantastic video for one of the more mediocre tracks off Madonna’s MDNA album. Agree? Disagree? Let us know your thoughts on Madonna’s new video below, or by hitting us up on Facebook and Twitter!
