Katy Perry Sued For Distracting Students In India

Katy Perry distracting?! Could it be the fireworks shooting from her bosom? The ever-changing hair colors in all the brightest hues of the rainbow? The constant parade of yummy treats dancing around with her at concerts? Actually, it was none of these that got her in water with India, but rather, her “obscene and lascivious” acts at the Indian Premier League opening in April. She and Australian athlete Doug Bollinger demonstrated a cricket bat move that apparently offended the public and distracted students who were taking exams at the time. (Why they were watching while taking exams at all, we don’t know.)

The indecency case will go to court July 31, though neither the pop star nor her Aussie cricketer will have to appear. It’s a mere slap on the wrist for Katy, who has certainly performed lewder acts than this. In fact, pretty much everything she’s ever done has been similarly “distracting.”

Does Katy distract you? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments.
