This month’s issue of Complex comes with one crowded cover, with the heads of eight members of the G.O.O.D. Music crew — including Kid Cudi, John Legend, Pusha T, Common and label founder Kanye West — forming a holy union. In anticipation of the release of their debut compilation, Cruel Summer (out August 7), the G.O.O.D family sat down for a round-table discussion,

West was happy to lend his face to the cover and the corresponding photo spread, but kept up his “no press” policy, letting his family members do the talking for him. “Kanye put himself in a class that nobody can match, as far as evolving, progressing, and taking the best of what we learn and making more out of it,” says Big Sean. “So the brand is just being the coolest. We dress the best, we rap the best, we sing the best, we look the best,” he laughs.
