Marina And The Diamonds Performs “Teen Idle” In London
Marina And The Diamonds portrayed a bored debutante in her “Primadonna” video, and the Electra Heart track “Teen Idle” picks up on the same theme — in which the heartbreaker confesses that she wants “blood, guts, and chocolate cake” and is “feeling super, super, super suicidal.” Okay, so yes, it’s kind of a downer and much less empowering than most other Electra Heart tracks, but Marina sure sounds lovely singing it, and the video is nice and Instagram-y.
