Contest: Do You Have What It Takes To Be ‘Pitch Perfect’?
If you can imagine a movie with the vocal talent of Glee and the glossy production of Step Up, then you can imagine why we’re excited for Pitch Perfect, the upcoming Anna Kendrick musical comedy set in the aggressive world of competitive college a capella. And though the flick doesn’t come out until Oct. 5, you can still appear alongside its all-star cast and be a part of the Pitch Perfect world!
Internet singer-songwriter and YouTube sensation Mike Tompkins is offering fans the opportunity to be a part of a music video for his cover of Nicki Minaj‘s rap-pop anthem, “Starships“. Amateur singers and dancers are encouraged to film and submit their best singing, dancing, beatboxing or backup instrumentation to win a part in the project, which will be featured on Tompkin’s YouTube page and on the Pitch Perfect Blu-Ray DVD. All entries must be submitted to the website by 5:00 PM PST on Aug. 22. And the winners will be announced on Sep. 15.
