After a chance meeting at Pitchfork Music Festival, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga are making sweet, sweet music together. “I am so excited to announce that a record I’ve been working on has now become a collaboration with @KendrickLamar for HIS ALBUM,” the pop star tweeted Wednesday (August 15). According to Miss Info (via an alleged tweet of Gaga’s that has since been deleted), the collab will be a single called “Partynauseous,” and it will be released September 6.

Rumors sparked of a musical pair-up when a photo emerged of the two artists in the studio together. Though it was previously reported that Eminem would be joining Kendrick and Gaga on a collaboration, that dream team turned out to be (sadly) false.

Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, is due October 2. Gaga’s new album, ARTPOP, is due sometime early next year. Are you excited to hear what Kendrick and Gaga have cooked up? Let us know what you think on Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments below.
