Garbage Go For A Swim In “Big Bright World” Video

Garbage go a little bit religious and a whole lot of random in their new video for “Big Bright World”, the latest single off their LP Not Your Kind Of People (which made our list of the 12 Best Albums Of 2012… So Far). The video features tons of religious imagery mixed with shots of graves and people diving into water. What does it all mean? We don’t know, but it looks creepy cool.

The clip, shot by Julie Orser, is filmed in mostly black and white, save for a woman in red swimming in the depths. The band is quite fond of the classic look of B&W — their previous video for “Blood For Poppies” was also filmed without color, as was the video of the band explaining the meaning behind “Big Bright World” that Idolator premiered back in April.
