With Leona Lewis‘ long-delayed Glassheart finally being released this fall, now’s about the time we’d get a few samplings of what to expect. And the British songbird is right in her element in “Trouble”, a gloomy tune written by one of Idolator’s Women About To PopEmeli Sandéand co-produced by Naughty Boy and Fraser T. Smith.

“I told you never to get used to me / I stay awake when you fall asleep / I’m a whole lot of trouble, we’re in a whole lot of trouble,” sings Lewis, with rapper Childish Gambino (Community‘s Donald Glover) drops in for a guest verse, declaring, “We were something together, I wouldn’t call it a team.” We can’t imagine the pop star being much trouble at all, but if the overly chipper Kelly Clarkson can have a dark side, it’s possible that Leona Lewis has some worrisome secrets kept hidden away, too. Listen to her new song below.
