Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Coldplay Lined Up For ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ Telecast

Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Coldplay are set to perform at the third annual Stand Up to Cancer telethon, an all-star TV special to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Hollywood A-listers such as Julia Roberts, Michael Douglas, Matt Damon and Samuel L. Jackson will also be attending.

Of all the performers lined up, Coldplay is the least surprising, given that Gwyneth Paltrow — the wife of lead singer Chris Martin — is working as an executive producer. Here’s hoping that the good cause inspires Swift and Keys to debut a single or two, given the success of Swift’s “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and anticipation behind Keys’ forthcoming album Girl on Fire.

The Stand Up to Cancer telethon airs Friday, Sept. 7, 8-9 p.m. EST, on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.
