In 1997, Jennifer Lopez starred in a movie that landed her much critical acclaim and earned the respect of her peers. No, not Anaconda — we’re talking about Selena, the biopic based on the life of late Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez, who was murdered in 1995 at the age of 23 by her fan club president.

Fifteen years after the film’s release, “Goin’ In” diva J.Lo hit up the American Airlines Center on her Dallas tour stop over the weekend and paid tribute to Selena by covering her 1994 single “No Me Queda Mas”. The Texas crowd gave props to J.Lo and the late Queen Of Tejano (who was from Corpus Christi) by singing along. Watch Lopez reprise one of her most famous roles for nearly four minutes above.
