We know the word “fierce” is played out at this point, but we should resurrect it strictly for the purpose of describing Azealia Banks. She has released another chic video, this one for “1991,” the fourth and final track from her 1991 EP to get the visual treatment. The Justin Mitchell-directed clip is an aesthetic extension of Banks’ “Van Vogue” video, and you can watch it up top.

The rapper channels ’90s landmarks from Madonna‘s “Vogue” to En Vogue for a sleek re-creation of the structured shoulders and dramatic angles of that era’s high fashion. In other words, a pantsuit never looked so cool (no offense, Mrs. Clinton). Azealia’s major label debut Broke With Expensive Taste is slated for a February 2013 release (hopefully for real this time), and material like this certainly helps us pass the time until then.
