2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz & A$AP Rocky Will Perform

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards are only two days away, but MTV is still rolling out more performers for the already stacked bill. The network just announced that Lil Wayne will debut his new single “No Worries” from his Dedication 4 mixtape on the VMA stage. Nicki Minaj will perform with a “secret” guest (Lil Wayne, perhaps? Mitt Romney?) and A$AP Rocky will join Rihanna for the remix of RiRi’s sex jam “Cockiness (Love It).” Then there’s 2 Chainz, whose hard work in the industry has paid off with a hit album and now a VMA performance.

Did you keep track of all that? Good, because don’t forget you can also see Taylor Swift, Pink, Frank Ocean, One Direction, Green Day and Alicia Keys performing at the VMAs on Thursday (Sep. 6). We’re not exactly sure how MTV plans to fit in an opening monologue and actual, ya know, awards in between all these songs, but we suppose that’s a good problem to have.
