Members of Russian feminist punk collective Pussy Riot released a video Thursday (Sep. 6) to protest Russian President Vladimir Putin and the imprisonment of three of the band’s members. In the video, the members speak broken English and thank their supporters in the music world (“Thank you Madonna! Thank you Red Hot Chili Peppers! Thank you Björk! Thank you Green Day!”) before burning a giant photo of Putin. Watch the video up top.

Back in February, Pussy Riot staged a protest in Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, performing a “punk prayer” to remove Putin from power. Three members of the band were sentenced to two years in prison for the act, and are awaiting a decision on their appeal. At least two remaining members fled the country soon after the sentencing.
