Kreayshawn Is “Twerkin!!!” With Diplo & Sissy Nobby: Listen
Kreayshawn is back with another cut off her album Somethin ‘Bout Kreay (Sep. 18) and it is, well, totally Kreay cray. “Twerkin!!!” is a chaotic banger (hence the three exclamation points) that couldn’t be more different from the chill “Summertime” or the clunky “Breakfast” (which may be the most important meal of the day, but we’ll pass).
Over a choppy beat, Kreay lauds “that booty” and the art of dropping low. Diplo himself gets in on the rump-shaking, picking up the mic for a purposely mumbly monotone verse that is buried under all the kinetic bluster. Strangely, though, it sounds exactly right. (The producer also recently dropped a verse on a Three Loko track…perhaps he’s getting bored behind the boards?) Hear the song over at Rolling Stone.
