Pink’s “Here Comes The Weekend”: Hear Her Party With Eminem

Pink and Eminem joined forces in 2010 for the bombastic “Won’t Back Down” off Eminem’s Recovery, and they’re together again on “Here Comes The Weekend” from Pink’s The Truth About Love (Sep. 18). This is a decidedly less angry affair, but it’s no less lively, and you can probably guess what it’s about. Get your weekend started early by listening to the song after the jump.

Pink ably channels her inner Shady on the track, so the stop-start refrain sounds like something you’d hear Em pseudo-singing on The Eminem Show. Shady himself jumps in about three-quarters of the way through, and while the vocals are pretty low in the mix for an Eminem verse, we can still make out something about a Snickers commercial and “a mixture of Stifler and Urkel.” Pretty soon his listeners will be too young to understand such references. But we still love ’em!
