Jennifer Lopez To Become The Latina Oprah?

With American Idol no longer taking up her free time, Jennifer Lopez has been busy adding another piece to her ever-growing empire. The pop star is rounding out her upcoming 3D concert movie, Fiat commercials and Kohl’s clothing line by becoming part-owner of Nuvo TV, which is described as “the first English-language cable network for bi-cultural Latinos in the U.S.” Should we expect J.Lo to pickup where Oprah Winfrey left off with her own daytime talk show? It’s unclear just yet. For now, the “Goin’ In” diva is reportedly slated to make several on-air appearances, “produce programming” — whatever that means — and serve as the channel’s ambassador (read: more Jennifer ads!).  [USA Today]
