Kelly Clarkson‘s Carnival Of Covers (unofficial title) continued, as the singer tried out Rihanna‘s “We Found Love” in Virginia Beach on September 11. This is her latest in a string of requested covers on tour that has included songs by Florence, Carly Rae Jepsen, TLC and even Eminem.
While Kelly’s take on RiRi lacks the original’s neon rave-up sensibilities, in the vocal department Kelly. Brings. It. Girl starts her career by singing other people’s songs on American Idol, then gets so big that her fans want to hear her sing other people’s songs. Circle of life, everybody. Watch it happen up top.
