Ciara’s “Sorry” Video: Watch The Smooth, Soulful Clip

Yesterday, Ciara teased a sneak peek of the video for her new single “Sorry”, and now, the video has debuted in full. In many ways, it’s the same old CiCi, which is both a blessing and a curse: In the “Pros” column, that gyrating body and those fluttery vocals are still on point; in the “Cons” column, the single isn’t an obvious radio smash, and the video is mostly just Ciara looking pretty. (But hey, that’s good enough for us.)

The song was produced by Jasper Cameron (in case you aren’t familiar with the Atlanta-based hitmaker’s work, Cameron’s Wikipedia notes that he “worked on the image changing lead single Dirrty from Christina Aguilera‘s second album Stripped” — NBD), and it has a similar vibe to her past slow burners, like “Never Ever” and “Ride”. Like both of those videos, “Sorry” sees Ciara showing off her famous curves with some provocative gyrating, thrusting and popping.

Whether the song will resonate with listeners remains to be seen, but rest assured that Ciara’s goodies are still highly desirable.
