Ke$ha Teases “Die Young” Chorus: Watch Her Singing On Tokyo Subway

Ke$ha‘s new single “Die Young” is due out later this month, and the “Blow” superstar isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to keeping anticipation high for the upcoming release. This time around, she’s been teasing the song with a series of video clips. The first, released last week, showed Ke$ha whistling the song’s melody on a Tokyo subway. In the latest teaser, Ke$ha is belting out the song’s chorus on that same train — and while it may be too early to tell, the preview portends another certifiable K$ radio banger.

It’s no surprise that the chorus lyrics cover well-traveled Ke$ha turf: Love on the dancefloor, with the promise of scandal. “I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums,” she sings, “Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone/While you’re here in my arms, let’s make the most of the night/Like we’re gonna die young/We’re gonna die young/We’re gonna die young.”

The song aside, the only implausible element of the video teaser is that her fellow passengers don’t seem delighted to be hearing a preview of a new Ke$ha smash. They must not have attended the Get $leazy Tour.
