Missy Elliott and Timbaland wasted no time after releasing “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat” off Missy’s next album. The duo took questions from fans in a Ustream session (well, Timbo mainly sat there looking down and seemingly confused) and used the session as an opportunity to hype up the forthcoming release. Really hype up: Missy said “We wanted to change up the way music sounded, just kinda change the game, change music, change the format a little bit.” If anyone can do it, it’s the pair that brought us “The Rain.” Read on to see what else she revealed about the new album.

Missy said she recorded a fun track with Lil Kim and Eve (are the Ruff Ryders still a thing?). The rapper also revealed her album will either be called Class Dismissed or Block Party. We vote for Block Party! The first one gives us pause, for it conjures images of a bell ringing and Missy peeling out of sight. We can’t bear to lose her again. Though, after a fan asked how it felt to be back, Missy made sure to set the record straight, saying “We not back, we’ve been here a long time and ain’t goin’ nowhere.”
