Pink Releases “Try” Artwork & Teases Video: Watch

Pink‘s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” from her new album The Truth About Love, went Platinum, and she may be set to continue her winning streak with her next single, “Try.” The singer has just posted the single artwork, as well as a brief teaser clip from the video — both of which align with this era’s slick imagery and theatrical glamour.

The track, penned by busbee (Kelly Clarkson‘s “Dark Side,” among other smashes) is a midtempo ballad that shows a little more vulnerability than the ballsy “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” but feels no less intense — and like “Dark Side,” “Try” has a big, propulsive chorus and melodramatic production. The video teaser shows Pink rocking a studded black sheath in a chamber full of bubbles arranged in a spiral that looks vaguely like a chromosomal strand. Guess we’re going to have to wait until the full video drops to figure out exactly how that concept ties in to the song’s message.
