Fiona Apple’s Mug Shot: Photo From Drug Arrest
Fiona Apple sparked some controversy yesterday after being arrested at a border stop in Texas and booked for possession of hashish, as well as a small amount of marijuana. It’s a surprise, then, to see the cannabis connoisseur looking relatively serene in her mug shot (although, admittedly, she might have looked less so had they snapped her with her eyes open).
Earlier this year, Apple dropped her first LP in seven years, The Idler Wheel…, to positive reviews, and the singer-songwriter was passing through the Texan town of Sierra Blanca en route to Austin for a gig when border patrol found the drugs in her tour bus. Reportedly, she is still awaiting bail — and we’re still awaiting more details of the arrest.
