:: In light of frontman Billie Joe Armstrong‘s rehab stint, Green Day canceled their October 27 headlining gig at New Orleans’ Voodoo Festival. Bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool spoke to the BBC about Armstrong’s rehab and the stresses of releasing three albums in five months. “We definitely just jumped off a moving train,” said Dirnt of the process, adding that he hasn’t seen Billie Joe in weeks. :: TMZ has a blurry photo which they claim shows Justin Bieber playing beer pong. This is obviously troubling, SHOCKING news since Bieber is only 18 years old. But the more troubling issue — if it is Bieber in the photo — is the fact that he’s hanging out with so many apparent bros. [TMZ]

:: Get ready to add another hyphen to the description of singer-songwriter-producer The-Dream. The Grammy winner is now the Executive Vice President of A&R for Def Jam. With his new title, The-Dream will oversee projects by Def Jam artists and will scout new talent. [Complex]
