Ellie Goulding Performs “Anything Could Happen” Live ‘Jimmy Fallon’: Watch
Even as Ellie Goulding‘s breakout US single “Lights” continues to make stateside waves, the UK chanteuse has begun promoting her latest album Halcyon, released October 9, and its lead track, “Anything Could Happen.” The song hasn’t picked up on radio yet, but Goulding’s performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon could be the ticket to give “Anything” an extra boost, since she was lively and spirited enough in the clip to sell at least a few digital downloads of her new single.
Wearing black leather and showing off her badass haircut (boyfriend Skrillex must be so proud), Goulding looked very much at home on stage as she performed the upbeat, jangly pop single. In earlier performances, Goulding has looked a little bit skittish at taking such high-profile venues, but it seems like she’s officially crossed over into the realm of the seasoned pop veteran now.
