Katy Perry Performs “Teenage Dream” In A Ballot Dress At Barack Obama Rally: Watch
Katy Perry has a teenage dream of a world where Barack Obama gets another four years: The pop star performed last night (October 25) at an Obama rally in Las Vegas, turning out a set of several of her biggest hits — “Part of Me,” “Teenage Dream,” “Wide Awake” and “Firework” — plus a cover of Obama’s favorite tune, Al Green‘s 1972 classic “Let’s Stay Together.” (She covered “Together” at an Obama rally on October 8 as well.) But most impressively, she managed to pull off some nimble choreography while wearing a skintight dress printed with a ballot, showing a colored-in box for Obama. If all the campaigning weren’t enough, that definitely clarifies which candidate will get Perry’s vote in the upcoming presidential election.
But the affection isn’t a one-way street, as Obama reportedly described Perry as “just a wonderful young lady.” Perry tweeted after the event:
So tonight was a great night! The PRESIDENT gave grandma and I unforgettable shout outs & now I am officially 28! Best. birthday. ever.

And indeed, Perry’s grandmother was charmed by the POTUS, too. Apparently, she gave Obama a kiss on the cheek, prompting him to tell the crowd that he had to wipe the lipstick off before Michelle Obama saw it.
