Earlier this week we heard Chris Mann‘s powerful duet with his former coach from The VoiceChristina Aguilera, on their cover of Damien Rice‘s “The Blower’s Daughter.” Today (October 26) we’re premiering another track from his forthcoming debut album Roads (out October 30), and this time, the classical singer has taken on Lady Antebellum‘s crossover country smash “Need You Now.” Whereas the twangy harmonies are the centerpiece of the original ballad, here it’s the interplay between Mann’s rich voice and the weepy strings. Stream the track after the jump.

With a Willie Nelson cover as well, and a roster of producers who have worked with everyone from Madonna to U2 to Demi Lovato, it sounds like Mann’s debut has something for everyone. You can preorder it over at iTunes.
