Legendary crooner Tony Bennett has confirmed that he and his pal Lady Gaga are collaborating on a jazz album, and that it will “really reaffirm that she’s one of the best jazz singers that anyone’s ever heard.” Bennett told Billboard that Gaga’s father called him on his daughter’s behalf while she was touring, saying that she wanted to do a jazz album with Tony. Bennett jumped on the idea, and revealed that Marion Evans has already signed on to arrange and orchestrate the album. As for the tracklist, Bennett said it’s “secret” for now. Gaga previously worked with Bennett on “The Lady Is A Tramp,” which appeared on his album Duets II.
