Did You Hear?

:: Due to his recent health issues, Lil Wayne was unable to attend a court hearing regarding his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III, but a judge still smacked Weezy down for his shenanigans in a deposition (the video of which went viral earlier this year). The judge said the rapper displayed “unreasonable conduct” and “irresponsible behavior.” Pro tip: If you’re suing someone for their “scandalous portrayal” of you, you probably shouldn’t act scandalous and tick off the judge. :: After breaking up with Conor Kennedy, Taylor Swift is already onto the next one, and that next one is Ed Sheeran…maybe.  According to The Mirror, the two are “increasingly close,” and Sheeran got “RED” tattooed on his arm. [Ocean Up]

:: Because musicians can’t simply release a mere album of songs these days, Coldplay is releasing an interactive eBook on November 19. Mylo Xyloto Live will be “an in-depth and interactive audio-visual companion piece to Live 2012,” their forthcoming DVD-album combo. The book also features exclusive photos and videos, Chris Martin‘s studio journal and interviews with the band. [Spin]

:: Hit-Boy had a sizable footprint on Kanye West‘s Cruel Summer compilation, producing three tracks, but he ultimately wanted his rhymes to make the cut. He recorded a few verses for the album that were scrapped, but he still hopes to rap on a Yeezy song one day. [MTV]

:: Apple is set to launch its competitor to Pandora and Spotify. The company is reportedly in talks with major record labels regarding licensing and ad revenue, and “a deal could be reached by mid-November, with Apple starting service in the first three months of 2013.” [Bloomberg]
