CMA Awards 2012: Taylor Swift & Kelly Clarkson Perform, Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Win Big

Country music’s power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert proved the biggest winners at last night’s 46th annual Country Music Association Awards, broadcast live from (where else?) Nashville: Shelton won his first Entertainer Of The Year award, as well as picking up a Male Vocalist Of The Year award for the third consecutive year running, while Lambert nabbed the Female Vocalist of the Year designation, plus Song Of The Year for her single “Over You.”

While crossover superstar Taylor Swift went home empty-handed tonight (she was nominated for three awards), she did perform a lovely rendition of “Begin Again.” Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill served up a debut live performance of Clarkson’s latest country single “Don’t Rush,” and — somewhat inevitably — the show’s hosts, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, did the “Gangnam Style” dance. Yep — that happened. See the full winners and video of standout performances after the jump.
