Robyn Hints At New Music

After spending the past two years on tour, Robyn told the BBC she’s ready to hunker down in the studio to make new music. The Swedish singer has been on the road virtually nonstop in support of her 2010 Body Talk albums and opening for Katy Perry and Coldplay. But while some musicians find themselves writing up tons of new material when they’re cooped up in a tour bus, Robyn is only distracted when she’s on the road. “I’ve been trying to write new stuff but as soon as another tour comes up, my ideas go out of my head. I start thinking about rehearsals instead,” she told the BBC.

To remedy the situation, the quirky pop singer is going to stay put. “I’m coming off the road so I can release something quicker,” she said. Robyn didn’t reveal a time frame, but we can assume she’s trying to return before Miley Cyrus completely assumes her identity.
