If there’s one thing Paul McCartney is hoping to “Get Back” to in 2013, it’s Barack Obama being President. Musicians have been urging their followers to get out and vote in the lead-up to today, Election Day 2012, but the legendary British rocker and his band — comprised of three Americans, mind you — are hoping for four more years with the current, 44th Commander In Chief.

“Three of the guys are American in the band, they voted already,” Sir Paul says in a video posted on YouTube yesterday. “And you know who they voted for? Obama!” During Obama’s time as President, McCartney has been the recipient of both the Gershwin Prize — which he received at the White House — and the Kennedy Center Honors. Watch his message to voters above.
