‘Breaking Dawn — Part 2’ Soundtrack: Stream New Ellie Goulding & Passion Pit Songs
The soundtrack to Breaking Dawn — Part 2 dropped earlier this week and now tracks from the latest Twilight installment have popped up online, including the tracks from Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit and Feist. And we have to say, we like all three of these songs more than Green Day‘s treacly contribution “The Forgotten.”
Goulding’s “Bittersweet” consists of her trademark smoky voice mixed with glitchy vocal samples and effervescent electronics. Passion Pit’s “Where I Come From” continues along the more subdued, earnest path they took on Gossamer (there’s even an acoustic guitar, which is basically their version of Dylan going electric). Hear those songs, plus the foreboding “Fire In The Water” from Feist, after the jump.
