Rihanna & Chris Brown’s “Nobody’s Business”: Listen To The Unapologetic Leak

One of the most-anticipated tracks from Rihanna‘s upcoming seventh studio album Unapologetic is her Chris Brown collaboration “Nobody’s Business,” which sees the Bajan chanteuse teaming up with her ex yet again (following last year’s “Birthday Cake” remix). Now, the track has leaked in full, and it’s a sprightly, Michael Jackson-referencing tune with a bouncy, ’80s-lite beat.

Aside from the fact that the song should have been titled “Nobody’s Bidness,” lyrics about Rihanna making out in Brown’s Lexus, considering the most infamous incident that occurred when the two were in a car together, are likely to raise eyebrows — but then, that’s probably the point. Whatever your feelings on Rihanna and Brown working together, the track will definitely get attention. Listen below.

“That’s probably the point” – Well of course. This song wasn’t written by them. Likely constructed by her label to ‘raise eyebrows’.

Firstly – Don’t Stop The Music is a better MJ homage.
Secondly, whilst on the outside it is sampling/referencing MJ and his song, it’s sadly not the case.

The disgusting thing about both (this coming from a former interested Rihanna fan) is that it is actually referencing ‘Ain’t Nobody’s Business’ – a blues song that the likes of Billie Holiday sang referencing violence against woman. Suggesting it’s nobody’s business if her man hits her in some of the covers of the song.

Most will only pick up the MJ reference, which is what they want. But they’re also giving a big ‘screw you’ to everyone, whether people recognise it or not. Without the disgusting reference, people will be up in arms (rightly so) – but singing that line just makes it more sad; desperate, attention-seeking and down right stupid.

I’m interested in hearing her album, cause I admit she puts out some good music (despite her lack of talent recently. Not one song writing credit. I know that’s not everything, but for me is a problem since she dishes these albums out like she changes her underwear, when she wears some) – but Rihanna the person. She is old news. Over-saturated. Resulting to this.

Glorifying her attack. Her newfound relationship with this douche bag. Middle finger up to the public who are against it. She can do what she wants – but waving it in our faces, in other victims faces, is just wrong. I’ll always say celebs do not HAVE to be complete role models – but you forfeit your privacy when you accept fame. An apart of that public display is that people will analyse your life and can influence some. It’s okay to have political or religious beliefs, sexual display and what not – but THIS is a sensitive issue that should have gone two ways: no acknowledgement to the media about it – OR be outspoken against violence and help support victims.

She did neither and her team or herself have not once, since the attack, done the right thing. There are NO grey lines with this issue, its very black & white. She can #phuckyoself all she wants, cause yeah she is getting rich – but that doesn’t detract from her immaturity, insincere attitude and off-the-rails stupidity.

WHAT THEY DO REALLY IS NOBODY’S BUSINESS! RIHANNA IS A GROWN WOMAN THAT IS HUMAN (MISTAKES WILL BE MADE) BUT SHE HAS LEARNED FROM THEM AND HAS DECIDED TO BE HAPPY AND DO WHAT “SHE” WANTS TO DO! RIHANNA OWES NO ONE ANYTHING AND IS NOT A POSTER CHILD FOR BATTERED WOMEN…SHE HAS A PERSONAL LIFE AND PEOPLE SHOULD STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT! THE SINGER/ACTRESS IS NOT THE WOMAN “ROBIN” AND PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT AND GET THEIR OWN LIVES TOGETHER!
