Beyonce’s New Music Coming Ahead Of The Super Bowl, Says The-Dream

Beyonce‘s frequent collaborator The-Dream told Billboard that King B will “definitely” release new material before her Super Bowl halftime show performance on February 3. The producer-songwriter said he’s involved in every part of the process for Bey’s fifth album, adding, “She took the summer to start recording, and now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”

“I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here,” The-Dream predicted. This would mirror Madonna‘s strategy from last year: as Billboard points out, Madge released “Give Me All Your Luvin'” days before her Super Bowl gig. Hopefully Bey’s rollout goes off without any rogue middle fingers.

If 2012 was the Year Of Rihanna, then this new music forecast means 2013 is shaping up to be Bey’s year. Don’t forget, right after the Super Bowl, her autobiographical  HBO documentary premieres.
