You’ve seen our 10 favorite albums of 2012, and while the list certainly paints a picture of the year in pop music, there’s still something missing (hey, we’re not perfect). So that’s why we’ve enlisted some of our favorite musicians to tell us about their 2012 faves. Big Boi is the latest to take the hot seat, and considering he’s a Southern MC who moonlights as a Kate Bush stan, we knew he’d have an unpredictable answer.

Sir Lucious Left Foot named Big K.R.I.T.‘s Live From The Underground and Nas‘ Life Is Good as some of his favorites of the year, but he was really taken by Mumford & Sons‘ Babel. In fact, he dug that British banjo action so much that he wants to collaborate (make this happen, suits!). Watch Big Boi explain it up top.

Did you like Babel as much as Big Boi did? Tell us in the comments below, or on Facebook and Twitter.
