Gwen Stefani Joins Gavin Rossdale For “Glycerine” Duet: Watch The Couple Prove Love Exists

Well, we’ve been waiting for this moment since seeing No Doubt open for Bush at the Civic Arena in 1996 for our first non-Raffi concert, and now that it’s here we can barely even process it. What we’re saying is, we’re gonna need the rest of the day to gather ourselves after watching the nostalgia overload that was Gwen Stefani joining her husband Gavin Rossdale for a “Glycerine” duet (!!!).

Rossdale’s band was performing at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas show on Saturday (December 8), which is where he and Stefani met 17 years ago (!!!), and Stefani wanted to celebrate the occasion with the duet. A sweaty Rossdale started the song by himself for the first verse, and then Stefani strutted out unannounced for verse #2, amidst a chorus of rapturous screams. For the rest of the song, the couple harmonized, exchanged glances and generally proved that love is maybe a real thing that exists. Watch it up top.
