Have you hit up our year-end Best Albums Of 2012 poll yet? We posted the final half of the two-part ballot this week, and readers have not only been casting their votes, they’ve also been stating their cases for why their pick is the best choice. Hey — not only do we welcome your opinions, after all, we encourage them. Below you’ll find gathered up some of the comments that have been left there, as well as those from our other coverage on the shenanigans going on on Planet Pop. Head below to see the best of what you had to say over the past seven days.

:: Andy Meier hit the polls on Vote For The Best Albums Of 2012 (Part 2): July Through December Releases: “Someone definitely rigged the poll, cuz Lotus is by NO means legitimately winning by this margin. It’s good, maybe even great, but Ke$ha, Rihanna, and Marina brought the heat with their albums. Calvin Harris made one of the best dance albums of the year, and that deserves recognition, too.”

:: Jamison also put a halt on Lotus‘ rising: “the crazy christina fans need to stop trolling. not even tryna be disrespectful but c’mon man”

:: Marti was cynfully excited over Adam Lambert Geeks Out Performing A Haunting “Mad World” With Cyndi Lauper: “Fabulous duet. I always adore Lambert’s vocals and the mix with Cyndi’s is haunting. I’m not surprised he went fanboy as he’s always in awe of talent. That’s such a great quality in a star!”

:: Musiclover was spinning in their red chair over The Voice: Former Contestants Juliet Simms, Chris Mann & Raelynn Perform: “Chris Mann totally blew me away with his amazing voice and interpretation! I have no doubts this star will have great success! Treven Hunt has potential just needs to mature. Even though it’s not my genre, I have to admit that Trevis is the best vocalist this season!”

:: Tomo96 was happy/sad on Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” Video: Watch Her Lose Herself: “This video is the bomb! gets the point of the song across and Directed really well! The video kind of captures the tone of the song, and it reminds me a little of The one that got away music video! 8/10 Excellent but… I really miss the old taylor :(”

:: Jay wasn’t as impressed: “Wow did she really need that somber intro for such a poppy, faux-dubsteppy song? The whole monologue was so laughable and unnecessary considering you know the song is UPBEAT. It worked for Rihanna’s “We Found Love” but it fails miserably here. I get that it weaves into song but really? Sometimes she tries a little too hard and it shows.”

:: Richard found real love on Solange Knowles Performs “Losing You” On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Remains Amazing: “JODY WATLEY reincarnated. Super cool, love her.”
