The Killers Cancel Madison Square Garden Show & Two Others Due To Brandon Flowers’ Largyngitis
The Killers have canceled a string of three shows, as Brandon Flowers‘ vocal problems continue and the singer has come down with laryngitis. The band announced on Twitter their decision to call off their show in Camden, NJ last night (December 13), as well as tonight’s show at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Saturday’s concert in Toronto.
“We hope to have a new NYC date very soon,” they said in the statement, adding that the new Toronto date would be announced “in the coming weeks.”
Last month, the Vegas rockers cut short a concert in Manchester and postponed the next night’s show because Flowers was suffering from a sore throat. Hopefully his vocal problems aren’t too serious and he can soon get back to howling about runaways and nuclear bachelorettes.
