Cee Lo Green Performs “What Christmas Means To Me” Live On ‘Ellen’: Watch

Cee Lo Green isn’t pulling any punches with this Christmas album, is he? The crooner/judge on The Voice/junior ornithologist has been keeping very busy promoting Cee Lo’s Magic Moment (does anything else deserve to be under the tree?), and his latest is a performance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.  It’s pretty by-the-numbers stuff — his vocals are silky and he’s having a ball on stage — but yeah, we’d still call this one a meaningful Christmas.

More importantly, though, he joined Ellen for a brief interview where he discussed his affinity for plush toys — in particular, the stuffed panther Smokey, who sleeps with him, because collapsing into complete caricature is an integral part of the life cycle for a judge on The Voice, and there’s no point in trying to fight it. Watch his performance up top, then see his interview below.
