Nelly Furtado’s “Waiting For The Night”: Watch The Flamenco-Glam Video
Oh, man. Sure was a shame about Nelly Furtado‘s last album, wasn’t it? Despite her best promotional efforts, The Spirit Indestructible proved, well, destructible on the charts. But Furtado remains indomitable: The Portuguese songbird has just dropped the video for her newest single, “Waiting For The Night,” and it’s a tune! Certainly an improvement on the previous singles from Spirit, and the video is her chic-est in a minute.
It’s nothing too high-concept — just Furtado in some Gaga-esque half-face makeup, doing some sultry noirish swaying with zombie dancers, because YOLO (unless you’re a zombie) — but it’s a smartly devised clip to one of the best songs off Spirit. Watch up top.
