The Saturdays Do Their First American TV Interview On ‘Chelsea Lately’
Ahead of the January 20 premiere of their new US series Chasing The Saturdays, UK girl group The Saturdays hit up their fellow E! mate Chelsea Handler‘s talk show last night to promote their reality program. The quintet announced on air that it was a big deal, as this was their first US TV interview. Still, they really didn’t get a word in edgewise, given all the quips and zingers Chelsea slung at them.
“So it’s kind of like the Spice Girls, right? A new improved Spice Girls?” Handler asked the girls, who have released three albums and an EP in their home country, to-date. This was after Chelsea joked, “You guys are from Great Britain, so you speak English?”
Still, the girls did get to put some information about themselves out there — mainly that Mollie King is the only Sats member who is single (holla, fellas!) and Rochelle Humes is five months pregnant…and, yes, knows who the father is.
